Introduction :
Vedic Mathematics is a system of mathematics that originated in ancient India, primarily based on the Vedas, which are ancient Hindu scriptures. It offers techniques that are easy to understand, apply, and remember, making mathematics more accessible to learners. Vedic Mathematics comprises a set of mental math techniques and shortcuts for performing arithmetic and algebraic calculations quickly and efficiently. It can be applied to a wide range of mathematical problems, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, squaring, cubing, square roots, cube roots, algebraic equations, calculus, and more.
- Introduction to Vedic Mathematics: history, origin and principles.
- Introduction to the 16 Sutras
- Understanding the significance of each Sutra and its application
- Practice exercises to demonstrate the practical utility of the Sutras
- Speed Mathematics Techniques for addition, subtraction, multiplication & division
- Advanced Techniques for Squaring, Cubing, algebra etc.
- Hands-on practice sessions to reinforce understanding
- Solving a variety of mathematical problems using Vedic Math principles.
- Regular assessments
- Feedback from instructors to identify areas for improvement and provide guidance.
- Opportunities for students to ask questions and seek clarification on concepts
